M.L. Pembleton enlisted into Co. A PA 104th Infantry on 12/7/1863 as a musician according to CivilWarData.com He was mustered out on 8/25/1865 at Portsmouth, VA. This original photo show him and his family in their band, postwar and what is very interesting is the Mr. Pembleton is wearing badges associated with the GAR (Grand Army of the Republic). This is a great image. It measures 4 1/4" X 6 1/2"
